FAQ
« on: November 07, 2005, 12:13:48 AM »
As the forum has changed, so has the FAQ or help system.  So here is a reposted version of the older FAQ.

Mission Statement
Artdc aims to bridge the communication between artists of all mediums, galleries, and collectors through an on-line venue.

Artdc promotes art communication with bulletin boards, automated galleries, and face-to-face meetings.

The artdc forum contains powerful tools to share techniques, self-promote, and discuss many themes of art. This aids cross-communication, which will inspire new and different creative forces to blend. Artdc gives individuals the opportunity to network and produce relationships with others, allowing community to develop.

Artists will market and jury group exhibitions, create individual groups, and other events while producing art, and further promoting this community.

The purpose of artdc.org is to aid in this process!

It's interesting to see Artomatic and Capital Fringe baords.  Why are there other orgs on artdc.org?

Artdc.org is excited about developing relationships and collaborations with other organizations.  Rather than repeat small amounts of energy in different places, we'd like to see effort culminate here at artdc.org.  Artdc.org pushes forward with positive energy, direction, and moderation.   Collaborations will bring traffic in both directions. We at artdc.org, Artomatic, and Capital Fringe hope that this will develop as a positive feature.

Would artdc.org be interested in collaborating with our organization?
Possibly.  We are interested in developing relationships with very active arts, theater, and music related organizations.  Feel free to contact us about your ideas and plans for the future.
