Pat Benatar had it right: Love is a Battlefield. From starter girlfriends and high school crushes, to tumultuous off-and-on romances and adolescent “firsts,” Mortified DC will relive the angst with the latest cringe-worthy material about juvenile ardor gone wrong (did it ever go right?).

Hailed a "cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek, Mortified is a comic excavation of the strange and extraordinary things we created as kids. Witness adults sharing their own adolescent journals, letters, poems, lyrics, home movies, stories and more!

WHAT: Mortified DC 
WHEN: Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at 8 p.m.  (doors open at 7)
LOCATION: Town Nightclub, 2009 8th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009
PARKING: Town offers on-site parking for $15.
METRO: Green/Yellow Line to U Street/Cardozo Metro Stop.
COST: $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
All tickets are for general admin and non-refundable.
