Folks, great crime book and a great artist. Strongly recommend checking it out. One of the best comics of '09.

I was talking to a rep at the Portrait Gallery and she said that the lecture is free but you have to have a ticket. She said that they start handing out the tickets at 3pm and it is only two per-person so she said we should try and be there at 3pm.

Does anyone have a Flip cam? Perhaps Cooke would allow for a short interview or even to film a small part of his presentation that we could post on the home site?

The same lady that told me about the 3pm ticket thing is helping me get intouch with people about interviewing him. I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Any chance we can video part of the event?

I think the event may have gotten a lot more popular. Both The Beat and Newsarama have posted something about it. All I'm saying is get those tickets early! And have fun!

It is confirmed I will be interviewing Darwyn after the event. I'm hoping to see if he will talk to DCC People who come to the event afterwards, but I haven't confirmed that.

I will also be able to video the lecture and the interview. So if people who can't make it want to see it we can talk later about a viewing.
