Let's keep this thread about the call and the subject matter of the shows. If anyone has technical difficulties, forward them to me or Henrik off-line.

Progress! The show is developing nicely. We're booking performers, and we receive new entries on a regular basis!
Let's show Arlington we know how to create an event. Any artdc.org member who's ever wanted to be in a show, or ever complained about how difficult it is to get into DC galleries should be in this show. Art Outlet and artdc.org are working hard to market this event to mass media and art collectors. This is an opportunity to be seen. Let's take a step away from the media and collectors, and think about the fact that this building has a great number of new residents in a building with a virtual golf room and amazing decor. They may just have new wall space which will be in need of art. Here's your opportunity to get your art in front of their eyes!

2 days left! Why do I keep posting? Because I'm very passionate about making sure that artdc.org members all have the opportunity to apply to the show. This will be an amazing event, if you've been to any artdc.org or artoutlet events, you know what they are like. Let's show Arlington what we do!

I submitted a proposal, which since the Art Outlet upload site doesn't take a Word doc; I transformed into a long jpeg. We'll see.

Cool. I just wanted to let everyone know there will be a slight delay in the curatorial process. We received such a positive response, that it's going to take a bit longer than we thought. The goal is to announce the artists by Monday! Thank you everone for their efforts!

hola from barcelona (arrived yesterday)....
and just saw this...
congrats to us all....it will be a fantastic exciting show, both concept and art wise...
i feel sort of "out of it" being so far away for so long...i'll stay tuned to get the details of the "how to" ( i.e. when to deliver the work, what needs to be done to help with set up, which piece of mine, specifically, is in the show, etc etc) in this thread.

i imagine we will also be learning which images of ours were chosen in ample amount of time before they have to be delivered... because i still have to mat and / or frame them depending on what made it in... and, because i forget which images i entered!
