My space on 2nd floor
« on: April 29, 2012, 08:15:54 AM »
It's up!  AND I've already done all my gallery sits.  So I can now do what I want, including spending days wandering and taking pictures and putting it up on my blog (like http://tammyvitale.com/artomatic-2012-the-magic-begins/ and http://tammyvitale.com/artomatic-aom-2012-quick-review/ so far this year). Looking forward to seeing everything once again!

(and, uh, duh - I can't figure out the hyper link here - sorry!)

WHAT ???? People have setup already ?? I haven't gotten time off work to even visit my site once ....  :headonwall: I HATE EXTENDED HOUR SUPPORT. *sigh*

TammyVitale : Beautiful, beautiful setup ... I'm so jealous. I was looking to do a similar color wall and yours looks perfect ! The Artwork compliments so well over that background and that tree is just beautifully intricate yet subtle ... classy !!

Did I already say I LOVE your wall ? Love it ! Will stop by when my <insert explicit content> work loosens my dog collar !!

Wow - thank you for your kind comments.  I have to admit I'm really happy with the color of the wall and the luck of finding it in the mistint bin for $5.  Originally I wanted a kind of greyish green but then I thought perhaps my work would get lost on it and this can of paint was sitting there and so.....it's a great story!  There's another red wall going up across from my space - red seems to work well!

I think you're gonna love this.

In my mind, I'd imagined some kinda deep red/maroon for my walls. A week or so later, I come here and see your post & pic and I'm, like, "THAT'S IT!" I downloaded your photo and showed it to m'lady and she loved it too. Your colour is beautiful, not to mention your work and display.

But it gets better. We're on the same floor-- on the same side. There is a lot of red on our side. Some art critic somewhere will surely make mention of this.

Anyhow, I sure hope I get to meet you. Congratulations on a great start. I've still got a good ways to go, but let's not dwell upon that...
