Folks wanna through out some potential dates? And anyone interested in maybe doing a summer picnic in July or August? I was thinking we might even want to invite some other local comics groups to join us for a gathering at someone's house or we could reserve a picnic area at a local park.

June is really not a great month for me. I'm out of town from the 10th through the 20th, which means that we really shouldn't be scheduling around my availability.

I kinda miss going to the meetings but the DC location on Sunday night just isn't convenient for me at all, unfortunately. But I'd love to go to a summer bbq thing! I don't have a big enough place or yard to host, but I'd be happy to bring food and help cook.

I still don't know if I'd make it, but the 26th is one of the few dates in June that would work for me.

I do love the idea of some kind of picnic/etc., though. I don't have space where I am to host but I'd be happy to show up (and invite various people).

The picnic/bbq/pot luck idea is very rad. As with everybody else, time is getting limited: I'm not available this weekend, next weekend or July 16 and 30.

For the picnic, perhaps late Aug. or early Sept., before SPX? That would give us some time to plan. We could also extend an invite to a few other local comics groups. I know of three groups that would likely be interested. A little food, some cold brews and, dare I say, whiffle ball?!

A DCC BBQ/picnic in August sounds excellent!  I could most likely host it again at my mom's place in Rockville (unless we want to rent a bigger space at a local park). 

As for a June meeting... I'm afraid that all of my weekends this month are already booked up.
I'll hopefully have more spare time in July.

We're at Rumors, at around 5:30.

So far, only a few people have indicated that they'll be there, and I also know a lot of people have conflicts or changes of plans, so I don't know what kind of crowd will show up.  I'm planning on at least getting a burger and some beers, though, for anyone who might be on the fence or hedging their bets.
