Hi there. I signed up for this a week or so ago. Looking forward to it. Are you posting images of the works being submitted? I can't remember if I did one or two submissions. I think I would like to do two since the work I selected is a dyptich with each panel being 18 x 18 exactly. How about that?  See you on Sunday.

I agree. The art is great on the 11th floor. I've had a chance to check out several floors during my shifts and I 'm glad the hall in the NW corner spoke to me. Looking forward to lots of activity there, catching up with old friends from A.Salon and finally meeting some people I follow on social media. Friday.

I will look for it, but I developed a listing of the studios and their relative cost for A.Salon as a comparison. The interesting thing is the costs are just about the same when you take into consideration extra fees, live/work vs work only, etc. The bad thing is that they are all too expensive given the rising cost of space rental in the city despite the recession. The need is very much there for an alternative which is truly affordable.

The Scene / Re: 3rd 12x12!!! Small works show at the artdc Gallery!

I've posted a few images on the flickr site. These are not images of the works in the 12 x 12 show, but larger pieces in the same series. Often the small works are the inspiration for larger ones which because of the format, grounds, materials, and process are often very different from the original. The small work is just the seed of something growing.
