Patron Membership:Artdc.org is off to a great start this year! Wrapping things up for December we received over 1.4 million hits, which is excellent news. The outside world is starting to take note of our activity! Our growth continues as the number of page views increased for January where we received mention in 5 newspapers including the Washington City Paper, Post, and Examiner! Find details here:

Recently we’ve developed t-shirt production and we’ve increased our available bandwidth to due to our increased activity, which has added to our costs! We need your help! We are now developing a paid membership for artdc.org so we can continue.
Artdc.org will remain about the same, free as before but we’ll add a few services to those that want to support artdc.org.
To aid our development, we will add a paid membership category of members entitled, “patron members,” which will be retro active to 01/01/2007.
With your Patron Membership you will gain access to a closed section of our artdc.org forums. Here you're able to discuss the latest news and artdc.org development which is not public yet, as well as provide feedback about artdc.org. You also will gain access to our priority artdc.org support via email.
We are also searching for support from local art vendors. Design Frames has offered 15% off of all framing for artc.org patron members. We'll also offer discounts on our artdc.org goods. If you have any connections, let us know!
Patron members will gain a larger upload quota in the artdc.org gallery.
Patron members will gain the opportunity to advertise a "personal artist page" in the artdc.org banner system free for one month. There will be a limit of 10 personal artist banners per month in a designated artist support block on the forum index. Artists will have the opportunity to select different months if they relate to a show or opening.
When things catch on, we'll press membership cards with a unique number on each. These cards will be stylish black plastic with our artdc.org white logo and a silver membership number. Only artdc.org patron members will receive a membership card.
Membership will start at "$35.00 US" a year. We welcome larger patrons who wish to support our efforts, but we believe that $35.00 is a great starting point. All donations are nonrefundable, and terms of membership benefits are subject to change.
If for some reason we've been unable to convince you that you need a Patron Membership, it is also an excellent way to support artdc.org, and those that have devoted their free time to make artdc.org what it is today.
