Join the Confucius Institute US Center and Hillyer Art Space as we host the Chinese and American fusion band, Silk Cedar - a band composed of artists known across the US and China. The event will feature traditional chinese instuments such as the yangqin and dulcimer, along with a variety of western instruments, which work in tandem to create a truly unique, musical experience.

The Silk Cedar Band features:

Liu Yuening: yangqin player
David Malher: dulcimer player
Denis Friesen-Carpenter: jazz pianist
Paul Friesen-Carpenter: multi-insturmentalist/singer
Zach Harmon: Percussionist
