Hey there-

Often it's only the complaints that find themselves onto the internet, so I hope to buck that trend by thanking all of you who post calls for entry.  Giving other creative folks in your area a heads-up only generates a better quality of work in our community, and that pushes the scene forward. 

Also, I'm really liking how the most recent Calls for Entry have the due date in the subject line.  That's a great idea that I hope continues!

how about opportunities for outsider art and an emerging art? I don't many of those opportunities on the board.

We’ll keep our eyes open for more outsider and emerging events!  Thanks for the input.  If you see something, please post it!  I love to think about this as a group exercise so we appreciate the input!

how does one get considered for art all night??

I'd like to see more outsider or even pop surrealist art on the site as well.  It seems that Art Whino tries to address the genre, their sponsoring of the Richmond mural project was cool but there is certainly room for improvement. We've lost the Irvine Contemporary which often had some underground influenced art; think he had some David Cho, Shepard Fairey, etc.  Would love to hear some ideas.
