I think #1 with 2 votes should be in.  Pretty emotional, dark and potentially raw (or cooked); fits the definition.  It puts an uncomfortable issue in your face in a unique way.

Show's up!  Yeah it takes some time to prep the images and code the credits! :)
Unfortunately we couldn't include Naked little birds, too small an image.. it started to pixelate.. arghhhhh!

Thanks!  I'm pleased.  It's very interesting to see where the group went with the theme.  The exciting thing about that is the fact that it backs up a really important concept.  The idea that we all can see a theme or idea in a very different light.   It's exciting to have a place for all of our views of an idea through other artist's work melt together.

I agree - very cool show.

Just a thought - How about a link if the artist wanted to add a special comment to accompany his/her work? Might be a nice option for the next show.

We can add links in the text below the show.  I could turn the comments feature on for that article if you wish.  Also notice, if you click on menu, then credits, I do have a link to everyone's image and profile.

I'm so glad you liked it.  I'm pleased with the group's diverse understanding of the idea of thinking out side of the boundaries of typical contemporary art.  I'd love to learn more about people's reactions to each work.

I'd be equally excited to hear about the reactions of those in the show!

I think I would have to go with Scott's "Till Death Do Us Part" with Matt's cow a close 2nd.

You have good taste, those are mine as well.  I think the two photomontages are strong as well but I have a bias for photography.

I'd have to argue Matt's human animal.  I can relate.

How do you think the art related to the theme?  If you could pick your top 5 images in this show, which would they be, and why?
