I kind of wish there would be another in like 6 months, so I could re-do my wall knowing everything I learned during my first one.

(Wait! Not being serious! Put those rakes and torches down!)

Aaack!  I'd be happy if the next full Artomatic was in 18-24 months.  And even happier if I could show my art and work 3 shifts.  But you kids should go for it!  :)

what I heard was Baltimore Artomatic in fall 2012 or spring 2013

I think a show in Baltimore would be the perfect solution -- we get another show soon, get Artomatic started in a new city, AND let the people who worked 25/8 for the last couple months running this show recuperate

I haven't heard anything about when there will be one in Frederick again, but I'm sure they can't resist doing it again

so get some new art ready, hon

As a DC resident with no car, I would have trouble getting to all my shifts and spending lots of time at a Baltimore AOM (though that would be easier than Frederick!) but I would still do it.

I'm hooked now.

What is the procedure for registering some space in the next Artomatic, I would love to be apart of the event? Went last year and to the one in '10 i believe it was. But I have always been a little foggy on how to be featured. Any news would be great.

Simple.  Go to artomatic.org and sign up for the email list.  You'll get news about all future Artomatic events--including information on how to register.

Sounds good.  Long as we don't have to repaint the walls after the show.

Works for me.  Short commute, no freight elevator needed.  Need to downside a bit from 1200 artists though--say 12?

How big will the spaces be?
Do we need our own lights?
Can we paint the carpet?
Can we add walls?
Will we need to install our own skylights?
Can all my friends hang stuff at my space?
Is it OK to include a life-size statue of Big Foot in a 2-D space?
Can we bring booze and (medical) narcotics to Meet the Artists night?
If I have a special party at my space can it include a petting zoo?

Thanks!

Oh that makes me think of one of art attack’s events where they gutted and flooded a house as an installation piece.
