Yes. It would be a stroke of unorganized insanity to have 50 artists hanging their work at once.
We however would be pleased to have several artists to help hang the work.

jenb1012! so glad you're involved! However, we are asking artists to limit pre-reserved spots to 2 so we can have room for artists to buy more slots on the day of hanging. I'm so pleased with the response!

I used the donate link on the left of the forum to send $21.18 Jesse. I think that is what you meant? So 2 spots for me. If we wanted to add more than 2 would we be able to send the full $12 bucks for the count above 2 right?

In theory. Yes at a later date.
My goal was to give a wide group of artists an opportunity to hang in the show. So we're giving the opportunity for 50 slots to pre-reserve 2 per artist, and then we will open up the rest on the day of hanging at a first come first serve basis with a limit of 6 slots total depending on availability. We actually have a limit of wall space. So I would encourage artists to bring more work.

I have a question about the 2-slot arrangement: some other 12x12 shows I've seen allow artists w/2 spots to hang a single work which fits the spot; say, 12x24 or similar. Will this be allowed?

Just my $.02 - I think it breaks it up visually &makes it more interesting to have the occasional oblong piece in among all the squares.

12"x12". No exceptions. If you'd like to "change it up" and do something that breaks up the line, work on a smaller scale, not a larger.

I'd like to register for one slot. I've been doing small artwork lately so I can easily fit the 12 x 12 slot.

I've selected one artwork so far, which I've entered below. This may change since I'm going to show that same painting at the Art Outlet show and there's a chance that someone may buy it before your show.
