artdc.org Elements of life show
These images are selected from our gallery at large. The selection process is an open group exercise. The first portrait show was curated by our Patron members, with the rule that we could not pick our own personal work. The show was limited to 20 images.
We'd like to open this process to the entire posting population of artdc.org. If you'd like to participate, please visit this topic: and read more about future themes, and the process of our selection. Our goal is to bring greater exposure to artists in our gallery, and promote group art discussion, and exposure to the curatorial process.
This show is titled., "Elements of life show." It's a a theme based show, searching for art that developed out of a search for raw elemental art using lead and glass, and in the process it evolved into something entirely different... The work is a little bit dark dark, qualified by technique or simply the emotion conveyed by the work. We're quite pleased with this small group of images.
As always this series was curated from our on-line gallery, so if you're a Washington, DC area artist, please do upload your work, so we can take a look.
